## Frequently asked questions

### Is online tuition effective for O and A Levels?

Online tuition can be as effective as in-person teaching when the class is live, interactive and focused on the student's exam board. Shared whiteboards, past-paper practice and regular feedback do the work; travel time saved goes back into study. The free trial lets you judge it for your child.

### How much does online tuition cost per month?

Online tuition at GradeUp International costs from PKR 9,500 per subject per month for a small group, or PKR 2,800 per one-to-one class at O Level. The price depends on the level and the format. Every fee is published on our pricing page in PKR, AED, SAR, GBP, USD, CAD and AUD, with no registration fee.

### Do you teach both Cambridge and Edexcel?

Yes, we teach Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel syllabuses, as well as UK boards AQA and OCR, the IB, Pakistani Matric and FSc boards, AP, SAT and Australian and Canadian courses. Each student is matched to a tutor who teaches their exact board and syllabus code.

### What timings are available for students in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or the UK?

We schedule classes after school and at weekends in your local time. Gulf students usually choose late-afternoon or evening slots in GST or AST, and UK students choose after-school slots in UK time. Tell us your preferred days and times when you book the trial and we match a tutor to them.

### How does the free trial class work?

The free trial is a full live class with a tutor who teaches your exact curriculum and subject. You tell us the board, subject and preferred times, we match a tutor and confirm on WhatsApp, and the class runs online. There is no card needed, and you decide afterwards whether to continue.

### Are classes one-to-one or in groups?

We offer both: one-to-one classes built around a single student, and small-group classes for students on the same syllabus. One-to-one suits students with specific gaps or tight exam dates; groups suit students who want regular, structured teaching at a lower monthly cost.

### Do you provide notes and past paper practice?

Yes, tutors share notes after each class and set past-paper questions from your exam board as a regular part of the course. Practice is marked against the official mark scheme, so students learn how marks are awarded, not just the content.

### Is online tuition safe for children?

Online classes are safe when they follow clear rules: classes happen on a monitored platform, never on private social accounts, and parents can join or ask about any class. Our safeguarding page explains the rules our tutors follow. You can also request a female tutor.
