Which Matric boards do schools in Kuwait use?

  • FBISE SSC (Matric): Classes 9 and 10

SSC-I and SSC-II are examined by the Federal Board. Edarabia's listing for Pakistan English School in Kuwait says students in Grades 9 and 10 choose between Science and Humanities, so confirm your child's exact subject group before tutoring starts.

  • FBISE HSSC (FSc / ICS): Classes 11 and 12

HSSC-I and HSSC-II are taken in groups such as Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering. Students aiming for medical college in Pakistan also face entry tests such as MDCAT, so accuracy on the Federal Board textbooks matters.

When are Matric exams for students in Kuwait?

Full calendar by board on our exam dates page.
SessionWhat applies in Kuwait
Annual examsHeld once a year for SSC and HSSC, and FBISE publishes a separate date sheet for overseas centres, including Kuwait. FBISE announced 2026 SSC results on 29 July 2026 and HSSC results on 9 September 2026.

Where do students in Kuwait sit Matric exams?

Pakistani-curriculum students in Kuwait take FBISE exams through their school, and FBISE's overseas date sheet lists Kuwait among its centres.

FBISE publishes date sheets, roll number slips and notices for students abroad on its website, so check the notice that applies to your school before each session.

Students returning to Pakistan with FBISE certificates do not need IBCC equivalence. Students switching from O Level or IGCSE to FSc need IBCC equivalence first.

Why choose an online FBISE tutor in Kuwait?

Many tutoring companies that target Kuwait focus on British, American and IB courses, so specialist help with the FBISE pattern of MCQs, short questions and long questions can be harder to find. Our tutors teach Federal Board students in Pakistan and know the books and the marking.

Pakistan is only two hours ahead of Kuwait, so an after-school class in Hawally fits naturally into the tutor's evening, and a student in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh gets the same teacher as a student in Islamabad.

Which Matric subjects do we teach students in Kuwait?

  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Computer Science
  • English
